Gold in Quebec: Moving North of the Abitibi

The mineral wealth in the vast region north of the Abitibi in Quebec, Ontario and Nunavut remains largely unknown. Companies working in this underexplored area have uncovered some of its resources and made us aware of its immense potential. A few are mining the mineral deposits they discovered, and many have active exploration projects underway. This article in RMI Magazine presents the gold deposits and producing mines of the Abitibi region in Quebec and some of the projects under study farther north.
